BME Bharat respects user privacy and believes every member has full control over their personal data. If you wish to delete your profile, listings, posts, or stored information, the platform supports ethical and professional data removal procedures.

What Data Can Be Deleted

  • Profile & account information
  • Phone number & email stored in account
  • Posts, listings, job postings & comments
  • Uploaded documents or images
  • Saved preferences & search history

What Data May Not Be Immediately Deleted

  • Safety-risk or fraud investigations
  • Legal or government compliance requirements
  • Financial record obligations
  • Platform protection (abuse or spam tracking)

Such data is stored only for the minimum legally required duration and is automatically erased after the retention period.

Deletion Timeline

  • Delete listing / post → Within 48 hours
  • Delete full profile & account → Within 7 days
  • Fraud or legally flagged accounts → Case-based review

Security & Verification

  • Deletion only processed upon request by account owner
  • Identity confirmation required before deletion
  • Deleted data cannot be recovered

What Happens After Deletion

  • Profile becomes permanently invisible
  • Posts & listings are removed
  • Enquiry history cleared (unless legally retained)
  • Backup copies erased after retention period
