To ensure safety, transparency, and trust between hospitals, buyers, and medical-equipment providers, every product listed on BME Bharat must follow strict biomedical compliance standards.

These rules apply to medical devices, lab equipment, biomedical tools, hospital machinery, and refurbished equipment.

Listing Rules for Used / Refurbished Devices

Allowed Only With Full Disclosure:

  • Age of machine (years used)
  • Refurbishment certificate
  • Condition grade (A / B / C)
  • Service availability
  • Replacement parts availability

Banned:

  • Selling life-critical equipment without certification
  • Posting damaged or unsafe ICU / OT machines

Safety & Compliance Requirements

  • Declare if device is CE / ISO / CDSCO / FDA certified
  • Mention sterilization method (ETO / Steam / Gamma)
  • Confirm infection-control guidelines followed
  • Provide calibration or testing certificate

Hospitals are strongly advised to request certification documents before purchasing.
